Puppetry arrives at Dyffryn

One of the many amazing puppets from the show.
At last we made it to Dyffryn this week and its great to finally be able to see the show in situ. Having been to the gardens a few years ago it has already started to change and makes the show look some what magical I think. With our first show on Friday it has been a busy week of rehearsals, fine tuning the show. Friday's two shows seemed to go down very well which is promising. Whilst Saturday was a very sunny day with two sold out shows! Among the audience was Brian and his friend from Bristol, who very kindly both came to see the show and were very positive about it. Also in the audience was Dad who came down to see it who also seems to enjoy it.

With Jess working on Macbeth I saw that Thursday night and really enjoyed it. It was the first time that second year actors are allowed to perform and they did a great job.

Sunday was very much a quiet day, catching up on sleep for all which we needed ahead of another busy week. However we did go and see the new Minions film which was hilarious! Among all the business of the last few weeks I realize it is my last week at college as well, so I'm sure I'll soon be off out and about again soon.
