Final week of rehearsals

How time has flown by! Already we are onto out final week of rehearsal at college and the show is really coming together. One thing that I love about puppetry is the story telling and the bizarre world of it all. We had a run of the show on Friday and it was quite special to be able to walk around the college and see scenes going on. In no other show would we have a request for four inflatable whales on sticks, that's for sure! As was expected my weekend was also spent in college fine tuning a few last minute things ready to go to Dyffryn next week (it’s still sunny amazingly!). Sunday however we went to see a rather beautiful film called ‘Hampstead’. It was a small, British film which was very carefully shot about a man who lives on part of Hampstead Heath, but there are plans to build on the land. It follows his tale of how he fights for his home, apparently all based on truth.
