Back to London
Having not been to London to see a show for a while, it was
nice to be back there on Saturday this week and to make it back to The Bridge,
to see ‘Two Ladies’. We’d not been too fussed about the show before so its been
quite a while since we were last there, nothing had changed though of course.
As ever I met Mum and Dad early, but didn’t have much success at the stage door
is has to be said, but that wasn’t the end of the world. The show itself was
fantastic. Essentially it was two women on stage for an hour and half, yet it
was enthralling and covered everything from social stereotypes to international
relations, yet it was still funny. It was straight through, so it really did
fly by and was certainly theatre at its best it has to be said. Afterwards we went
for our traditional trip to Pizza Express, before heading home, on our separate
ways. Having not seen a play for what seems like an age, I was glad to have
made it back to The Bridge.
We ventured across the Bristol on Sunday for a wander around
as I realise, I’ve never actually been for a nose, despite how often we are
there. Thankfully it was a sunny day so perfect for an explore. Kit seemed to know
it far better than I did, so she took me to some great shops and for a lovely
lunch. It made a change to be wandering around, for no real purpose for once.
