More things I can't talk about & a daft weekend
Having only worked one day last week, a full week of work,
and in London for that matter, was a bit of a shock to the system. As ever I
can't talk about it (although I'm still yet to sign anything saying that), but
it was something new and in London (well not really). Working with a different
team was great and outside of Wales, although with all the travelling it felt
like a much longer week (quite a few hotel breakfasts though).
The week ended in Bristol and not far from Martin and Gary's
so I popped in for a few hours which is always a joy. Martin came back to
Cardiff with me and we enjoyed a leisurely evening (well early morning
nattering away). His impetus for visiting Cardiff was for Comic Con on the
Saturday. It is a far smaller event than London so made for a relaxed day all
round (even time for me to cook him a full English). It was more a day of
saying hello to people rather than meeting new guests, chatting to Padders and
John Levene amongst others. There was even time for a sit-down lunch (can't think
that has ever happened before). The day ended with a Bee Gees reunion with
Padders, making for a really nice end to the day. We then headed back to
Bristol for an evening of pre-me TV (I can't keep calling it old because it's
not!).
It was back to the usual routine for Sunday, with a cooked
breakfast and recording of the radio show, before I headed back to Cardiff
after what felt like a very long, enjoyable weekend.
