Back to Bristol

Well I may have been there last weekend, but I was back to Bristol again this week. 

This was a more traditional weekend, with a trip to Chiswick for yet another busy signing. Before hand, we joined Ian and Jo for breakfast which does make it a slightly more relaxing start to the day certainly. For me it was a little quieter as I wasn't sat with as many people, but that was quite nice really. I did however catch-up with a few guests who I've come to know which is always nice. I was sat with a lovely man, Barry Noble, who had been a Cyberman in the 60s as well as a singer. Following our customary trip to the pub after we were back to Bristol for a little late-night TV (Father Ted this time, still pre-me). 

Normally Sundays are just as busy, but for once, not so. It was a late morning before going out to lunch with a friend of Martin and Gary's, who like them is great company. The meal became all day as we all had such a nice time. It was lovely to be able to enjoy something of the nice weather as well for a change (not that the weather lasted for long).

Despite a not so early return to Cardiff, I chucked bits in the car and headed north for a few unexpected days off (makes a change!)
