A short trip to London

I’ll be honest dear reader, I struggled to remember what I did at the weekend as it rather flew by. Saturday was spent filming in studios so a quietish day, although there was time to enjoy egg and soldiers (I probably shouldn’t be quite so pleased about that, but then it was a quiet day).

With the end of filming I dashed across to London to catch-up with Martin and Joaquin, having not seen the for ages has they’ve been on holiday in their flat in Spain for months. Despite a late arrival it was so nice to see them again and enjoy an evening of laughter.

Sunday was a relaxed start for a change as Martin was reading as part of a remembrance service in Soho. It was a beautiful service in a little church right in the heart of Soho. Being where it was, it was full of actors so as you can imagine I was in my element, particularly as we went to the pub across the road afterwards for a few drinks and a great time chatting with all. As ever Joaquin cooked a beautiful lunch before I had to head back to Cardiff, having been in London for less than 24 hours I worked out on the way home, but certainly worth it as it felt like I’d been there with Martin and Joaquin for ages.
