‘Narrative’: Week Three

To my surprise,
it seems already to be the end of week three on ‘Narrative’, which amazes me!
It seems to be flying by.
Not a lot to report this week dear reader (sorry to be
boring). The week has been spent continuing with AV content, of which Molly and
I have pretty much finished. We have one more video to do on Monday, but apart
from that, we’re ready for the get in next week. I’ve been surprised just how
tiring AV content is, as I come home shattered most evenings, I’m still not
quite sure why. However, this has meant that I’ve watched a lot of Doctor Who,
as a nice way to unwind.
Monday evening was our company meal, which was very
nice. We went to a lovely Turkish restaurant. Having never had Turkish food
before, I was a little unsure what to expect, but it was all very nice. The
evening itself was a lovely chance to speak to the members of the crew that
Molly and I don’t see so much, but also a chance to get to know the actors.
I was just about to say there was nothing else to
report, but then I remember that we sorted our house for next year (how did I
forget then?). Having spent last Saturday looking at places online, Tuesday was
spent going round our favourite houses, and by the end of the day, we’d decided
and put a deposit down on one (we really don’t mess around). Whilst I wasn’t
really thinking about where to live next year, that’s another thing cross off
the list of things to do. It’s sunk in a little now that we have our ‘own
place’, so I’m beginning to get excited about next year now!
For any readers who haven’t already heard, it was
announced this week that Steven Moffat is to step down from Doctor Who in 2017,
with Chris Chibnall taking his place. I am very excited by the news as
Chibnall, like Moffat, is a lifelong fan and knows the show inside out, so I
can only assume that he will do a good job.
If you have your doubts dear reader, have a look at his previous Doctor
Who scripts they were rather good!
That really is it of the week dear reader. For once I
know what I’ll be doing this coming week; a very busy get in (wish me luck!).
