The start of lectures, but more importantly a return to Chiswick
Well, I say a return to lectures but of the potential five
days I could be in, I've been in for a total of two (and even then, that wasn't
full days). Perhaps at last a lecture of interest (as it wasn't being talked
at), was a day playing with moving lights, creating a design for ‘Live and Let
Die’, which seems to go rather well, although it reminds me why I'm not an LD.
At long last come Saturday I disappeared off to London.
Initially to pop into Westminster for two delightful chaps, who were
Stormtroopers, but more importantly had been various characters in Who, whom
had all sorts of fascinating stories to tell. From there I dashed across London
(tube closures galore), to Chiswick for this month's signing. As every good fun
all round and a great selection of guests, however I must mention three ladies:
Rachel Davies who was such a wonderful laugh, Fiona Walker who recognised me
from the last event she did (in 2013!) and Patricia Prior who was just the
sweetest lady. Afterwards we all ventured to the pub around the corner, for
what became a rather late night, but fun none the less (karaoke included, not
that I partook). All in all, a great first trip to Chiswick for the year!
