First week back (and a quiet one at that)
Well, already the week has flown by dear reader, but I can't immediately think I've done a great deal. My placement, which is more of the same as before Christmas, but with new actors, doesn't really start until next week so it's mainly been a lot of admin and emails (what a week!).
However Wednesday evening I did venture across to Chapter to see a preview of 'Britannia'. It was an interesting episode, and perhaps not quite my cup of tea, but then it was only the first episode and it was clearly setting up what would be a long running series, Perhaps it would take a good few episodes to really get in to it. It was nice however to be able to catch up with the location manager from the filming placement I did, as he had worked on it and was there for a post-viewing talk.
The weekend was probably the busy part of my week, as I was filming with the BA3 actors. This was a surprise shoot for me, as I hadn't know about it until Wednesday, but it seemed to go according to plan none the less, and thankfully wasn't overly complicated. It was nice to be doing rather random scenes, as the actors had chosen them, themselves so we ended up amongst others doing a scene from 'Shrek' (not what I was expecting, but it worked). After two fairly long days filming a quiet week ahead sounds like a good idea.
