Christmas and the New Year!
I shall start by saying Merry Christmas
dear reader (if anyone does in fact still read this ), and also whilst I'm at
it a very happy New Year!
Christmas day was relaxed, cosy and at home
with Nana coming round for lunch which was nice. As I write this I can't think
there is much more to say about the day, other than Doctor Who was great! David
Bradley does a very good job of capturing William Hartnell's Doctor, in what
was an enjoyable last story for Capaldi.
After a quiet day in, we packed up and want
to Norwich for a few days to stay with Auntie Elaine. Having not been for some
years it was nice to be able to explore the area again (even if it was cold and
very wet), as well as spending a small fortune in the sci-fi shop there (there
was a sale on, how could I not?). After another few, relaxed and cosy days away
we returned home.
Having done my fair share of wandering over
the last few weeks, that seems to have been it, for now. Friday night we all
went to see the panto in Manchester, 'Dick Whittington', staring the Krankies
and John Barrowman (yes dear reader it was quite literally the same show as
last year, but was still very funny). Afterwards Dad and I met John and the
Krankies, all of whom were friendly as ever.
Beyond panto I can't think there is
anything else to report really, apart from that I am watching more of Blake's
7, but I'm not sure that's really very exciting to read (they're all on Youtube
should anyone wish to watch them).
