Jess's actually birthday

As I'm sure you've noticed dear reader my most recent updates have been rather late and I realise I missed a very important week which featured Jess's birthday (as opposed to a belated birthday meal).

Whilst the week was fairly uneventful Saturday was actually her birthday (20th). We started the day with a rather unhealthy breakfast before swimming and shopping polished off with a takeaway pizza. Whilst we manages to go swimming, due to my trunks being smaller than expected (long story) we weren't able to stay for long, but I think we did OK and hopefully Jess enjoyed the day! Sunday was spent relaxing and playing with presents (not quite playing but you get the idea).
