The first week or my final year in Cardiff

Well after a rather busy summer Monday was the start of my third and final year. They thankfully eased us back into it gently, with Friday being the first full day (a rarity in general). Whilst college was uneventful we actually had an interesting lecture (I know who would have thought), from a sound designer from Radio Four (sorry Mum he doesn't work on The Archers). Looking back on the lecture I’m not sure quite what was so interesting about it, but we all seemed to love it.

A pair of Daleks, namely Cy Town and Nick Evans.
Anyway as per come Saturday I wandered off, heading for Chiswick for a very busy signing. I ended up sitting with two guests, an actor by the name of Nick Evans and an AFM called David Tilley. Amongst the line-up was an actress called Carmen Gomez who was born in Gibraltar and wrote a fascinating book which I was able to talk at length with her about which was great.

Having returned to Cardiff I popped into Comic Con very briefly on Sunday to meet a Tetrap (google it), before starting the inevitable work that college has already set us.
