A relaxing week in Ireland
As I mentioned last week I returned from Dorset
on Monday, only to be heading off again on Wednesday. Mum and I were flying
from Birmingham Airport early Thursday morning so stayed over in a hotel Wednesday
evening. However, on route (well not really but in the area) I was able to
catch-up with George and Jane Little. Having met them both at a signing in Chiswick
it was lovely to be able to catch-up with them. We had a lovely meal before looking
through some of George’s incredible scrapbook; he’s worked with everyone! After
a very enjoyable time with both of them, I headed to the hotel.
Thankfully all went smoothly getting to Ireland
on Thursday. Having not been to Ireland for a while it was lovely to see
everything, some of which had changed a little. What was nice was being able to
enjoy lie-ins (a rarity these days) and the beautiful views. Sunday afternoon
we all went for a walk on one of the many beaches which was great, as it is something
that we always do when in Ireland; we even had a nose in some of the rock pools,
something which we always use to do. However as is always the case sadly,
Monday soon came and we headed back to England, feeling relaxed and having had
a lovely time.
