Catching-up in London

Whilst I am able to talk about my weekdays now, I can’t say there is much of note to say as it is mainly spent clearing-up, doing the odd tour for school groups and keeping an eye on the clear up.

As ever though come the weekend, I was off to London (where I seem to be every weekend for the next few months it would seem) Saturday was spent in the ever-delightful company of Renu. Having only seen him about three months or so ago, we always have plenty to talk about and catch-up on and it is certainly always a joy. It made for a very relaxed day, putting the world to rights and getting to know a relatively new part of London again.

From Renu’s I went across to Martin and Joaquin’s to stop with them for the rest of the weekend. As ever time with them was a lot of laughs and fun. Sunday was the reason for my trip to London really as they organised a belated Christmas meal as one or two people weren’t about. Sunday was thus a busy morning sorting out the flat ahead of visitors (I don’t think I’m thought of as a visitor anymore). It was great to see both Dottie and Jimmy again and be able to enjoy a day with them rather than a quick drink as normal. Martin and Joaquin put together a fantastic meal followed by an afternoon or catching-up (I seem to have done a lot of that this weekend). Before I knew it, I had to head back to Cardiff after what seemed like a very long weekend.
