Pandorica!
As ever the week has been fairly quiet bar
the weekend.
Wednesday evening Jess and I did see 'Wait until Dark’, which was a great play at the New Theatre, about a group of con men trying to con a woman into giving them q doll full of process drugs (when put like that it sounds rubbish!). Surprise, surprise, we stage doored it and briefly met Oliver Mellor (of Who, but more prominently Coronation Street fame).
Saturday was an early start for us both as we went to Bristol for Pandorica! Whilst I spent the day sitting with a few guests and enjoying the Doctor Who bubble, Jess explored Bristol and enjoyed the hotel. As ever the event was very busy, but great fun, with a great selection of guests. One of whom I’d worked with on the filming back in Easter, so it was great to catch-up with him. Sunday was more of the same but for one reason or another seemed to be far busier, but again was a lot of fun! Sunday’s big draw was a reunion for the last story of the classic era, and they had pretty much all the surviving cast which was great to see. Late Sunday evening we headed back to Cardiff after seemed like a very long weekend which was great and sadly my last convention of the year.
