A far quieter week

After the excitement of the last few weeks I knew I quieter week would happen eventually, which has been this week.

Monday was our company meal, for which we went to Pizza Express (I was very happy, as I know for sure that I like pizzas!). I was surprised just how many people went, it really was the entire company of about 30 people (I felt so sorry for the poor waiters). We didn’t really get to know the cast and other members of the crew during the meal as we were supposed to (its always one of those terribly awkward situations, where you’re supposed to mingle, but tend not to). I did have a great chat to one of the cast that was doing the whole ‘mingling thing’ properly (he chose to sit on a table of just stage managers, very brave).

The rest of my week wasn’t quite as expected, as matters at home have meant that I needed to leave Cardiff for the week. As seems to be the norm now come Sunday evening I find myself on a train heading back to Cardiff, ready to start back on ‘One Man Two Governors’ (which opens on Thursday, ah!).
