Final week(ish) of ‘Dying for It’ and wanders elsewhere
Well dear reader hopefully this post will go out
on time (I'm optimistic). Anyway, this week we opened 'Dying for It' at last.
As I wrote this each night has been very successful with nearly sold out performances
each time. From my point of view I'm getting into the swing of it although the
first act isn't that busy for me personally.

| This wasn't taken during the show I should add. |
Thursday saw me wander back up to the Caird
(I've not been back since Blindsided and it now looks very plain). Anyway, I saw
'Open Plan' a new price of writing about relationships, with much of it set in
IKEA which was interesting. A very tight and thought-provoking show; very
different to ‘Blindsided’ indeed!

| The delightful Brian Ellis. |
For some reason (which I'm still not aware of)
we had no show on Saturday so I was freely able to wander off for my first
event of the year. As ever a rather brilliant signing by Fantom Films with a
wide variety of guests. This month I found myself sat with the legendary Dick
Mills and Brian Ellis who hadn't done an event for years and seemed a little
bemused by it but enjoyed it none the less. I must also mention the delightful
Peter Benson (no Mum not the one that you work with) and the charming Ann
Davies. Before returning to Cardiff I popped in to see Peter who was
entertaining as ever.
Sunday was a quieter day catching up with
normality (by which I mean washing) finished by watching 'Finding Dory' which I
must say I rather enjoyed (not my suggestion I should add). After a delightful
few days off I shall return to 'Dying for It' tomorrow with only two shows left.
