Class, Blindsided & Pandorica

The title of this week's entry pretty much sums up my week if I'm honest dear reader.
As has been the case for the last few weeks I've continued to work on 'Blindsided', finalizing various props and research before next week's rather busy get-in/tec. All seems to be going well as we get closer to our deadline.

The 'Class' cast (not my picture)
Tuesday night was a little more interesting than most as BAFTA Cymru hosted a preview screening of episode six of 'Class'. It was great to see it on the big screen (I still don't like watching things on my laptop, but perhaps I'm just old-fashioned). Anyway, as well as it being a preview screening some of the cast, including Patrick Ness were there, so it was great to see them again, Patrick in particular remembered me which was nice. The episode itself was very good, possibly the best yet. The day before college had been emailed offering tickets, so it was a little odd to be sat there with people from college for a change, but nice none the less (some of them just didn't get it through or were bemused by some of the fans).
Now going by the title that leaves one thing left from my week, Pandorica. As was the case last year this time last year, it was a wander across to Bristol and back, but this time as a helper (not-we as we're called). Despite a rather soggy start to the day, Saturday was a very busy day, sat with my dear friend Roland for the morning and in the afternoon Michael Briant (a fascinating man). Whilst I missed out on the talks, my time in the green room and spent with the guests was so much fun and I felt like I really got to know a few of them. Following the event the not-we went out for a lovely meal (Italian), before returning for the evening's entertainment. Following a rather late night trip back to Cardiff, I was back across to Bristol the next day (it was cheaper than a room and I'm too stingy for that). Sunday morning began with me sitting with Michael again as he was in an awful lot of demand for autographs (quite rightly too), before sitting with the charming Belinda Mayne in the afternoon (at one point she had a conversation in German with a fan so I was completely lost!), again a very busy day, with a lot of laughs and lovely people. Overall I think it has to have been one of the best weekends, as it was all non-stop!

The ever charming Belinda and Carley!
